Aug 28, 2009 -- Day 1

We went and got a portable a/c unit for the garage and got to work around 10:00pm.    We worked most of the night and finally wrapped up around 4:00am!
The hood is gone!
...and there go the fenders
Trying to get the running boards off
Maybe this grinder will do the trick?
Still tryin!
Scraping the old rubber off the running boards
Where we left off for the night
Day 1 was very successful.  The running boards were extremely time consuming and the bolts were so rusted that we had to cut them off in order to remove them.  The front end of the car came apart much easier, as it had been opened up several times, most lately to remove the radiator to have it recored and transformed into a pressure radiator.
One day down, ??? to go!
